A week or so ago, Scout and Mo were playing birthday party for her baby. This is a game that we play ALL THE TIME!
Scout asked Mo, "How old is your baby?"
Mo answered "One."
So, Scout goes to put 1 candle on the pretend birthday cake. Mo says she wants all the candles put on the birthday cake.
Scout: " That's not how it works. You have to match the candles to how old the baby is."
Mo: " That's not how I work. Put 'em all on there."

OK that made me bust out laughing ... and it is after 1 AM here ... now I hear a restless baby upstairs ... but my goodness that is funny ...
