Mo's Superpower

Mo has an incredible superpower.....which I decided today is not just a once-in-a-while thing....

Sometimes (ok, all the time), when I get on the phone, Mo does everything she can to distract me. She will get into something she's not suppose to, or she will start yelling and making lots of noise.

Back to the superpower, If I am calling some company that I have to navigate the phone system (press 1 for billing, 2 for service, etc)....Mo can make a squealing sound that will activate the phone system. I don't even have to push a button, Mo's high-pitched squeal is just the right frequency that will "press" the buttons for me.

This has happened more than one time to be just a coincidence. Today, I was trying to make an appointment at the doctor. I was listening for my "push button" choices...and Mo was making noises in the background, next thing I know, I am talking to some lab manager because Mo's noises had pushed a whole series of buttons and gotten me away from the appointment menu.

Very random.

My daughter shares that super power ... and the thing that makes me nutty about it ... I can say my choice over and over and it doesn't understand me and she does her thing and the zap she has gotten me somewhere ... but never where I wanted to go ...
